Why do we like this?

It's always a shock to discover an artist like the Vancouver baritone Mark Mills, who has just over 70 followers on SoundCloud. Not only is it a shock that he has such a slim following, it's a surprise to hear a voice this refreshingly strong.

Everything about this track is stellar. The iPhone noises following the lyrics "all of the times I'm thinking about you checking my phone, for you" caught me off guard a bit, and it actually made me pick up my phone to make sure I'm not hallucinating.
