Why do we like this?
I'm slowly catching up on yesterday's influx of new music, and Maribou State's new track "Tongue" seems worth of a share. It's the second single we've heard from them this month (the first being a remix of Moby's "Praise You"), and keeps with the gentle pace they've established in prior releases.
On the track, London-based Holly Walker provides supporting vocals in a deft and entrancing manner. I can't say I've encountered her work to date, but on "Tongue" she sets the bar quite high.
