Why do we like this?
This is going to be one hell of an album. Maribou State are consistently great, and they continue to collaborate with all the right acts.
"Nervous Tics" moves through a lot of classic Maribou State elements; the washed out guitar; a slightly more pacy, yet downtempo beat; an allude to more bluesy funk.
Whether they meant to give anyone with OCD a panic attack by spelling the song title that way is kind of up for debate. I'm pretty sure it would be 'ticks,' like, I'm pretty sure that's how you would spell it.
