Why do we like this?
We got our first taste of Philadelphia electronic duo Marian Hill several months back when they dropped their debut single, "Whisky." Since then, momentum has been building towards the eventual release of their first EP.
Until then, we get to enjoy Marian Hill's latest tune. "Lovit" is a wonderful fusion of electro, jazz, blues, and R&B influences. Singer/songwriter Samantha Gongol brings great depth to producer/songwriter Jeremy Lloyd's sauntering production. "Lovit" reminds me a bit of something Zebra Safari might produce, and leads me to believe that Marian Hill will be popping up on a lot more radars soon.
