Why do we like this?

This one has Garden State (the movie) written all over it. Somehow Manu Dia has thrown an indietronica hood over that films head and then tortured it with feathers, or something similar.

"Stranger" comes off a very sultry electronic EP called Surface. It's an impressive debut that warrants attention, but like everything in this modern epoch moments are fleeting, so perhaps this release will just scratch the surface of wider attention. Only time will tell.

Closing argument: if Garden State had an electronic soundtrack this could be it. Seriously though.
