Why do we like this?
Mansions on the Moon is a hard group to pin down. The L.A.-based quartet has been making their own brand of electronic pop for a few years now, teaming up with high-profile producers like Pharrell Williams and Diplo for various releases along the way.
It would seem that after several months of laying low, Mansions on the Moon is prepping the release of a new EP. "Full Moon" is the lead single and title track. It's a polished, nostalgic synth-pop tune that makes wonderful use of those melodic 80s vibes everyone's trying to capture these days.
