Why do we like this?

It's always a pleasure to hear the amazing music coming out of Detroit these days, especially with me finding myself so far and away from my home town.

This track is actually a collaboration with a Grant L'Kayl Eadie, aka Manatee Commune (a Seattle native), featuring the vocals of Flint Eastwood (a Detroit based act) released on a boutique, Brooklyn based label, Bastardjazz.

The final product is atmospheric, bubbly and iridescent on the ears. The tune is the first installation of Manatee Commune's forthcoming debut album so stay tuned, and enjoy!
