"You Make My Life A Better Place" is the fourth single taken from UK quintet Mamas Gun's forthcoming album Golden Days.
Following on from the well received "London Girls," "Strangers On A Street," and "I Need A Win," this latest tune is another groovy soul meets funk wonder from the collective. Frontman Andy Platts sounds like he's just returned from the '70s, his voice encapsulating the soulful sounds of the era, with a delicate piano line anchors the funky production. Explaining what inspired the tune Platts revealed:
Musically, we really wanted to go for a big classic sounding song in the vein of Billy Joel’s ‘Just The Way You Are’, or Bill Wither’s ‘Just The Two Of Us’ - strong, simple melodic songwriting with crystal clarity and a warm uplifting spirit.
"You Make My Life A Better Place" is another awesome track from Mamas Gun and continues to build anticipation for the release of Golden Days, set to drop May 18.
