Why do we like this?

Brisbane teen Mallrat has been steadily entrenching herself as one of Australia's most promising new artists and has capped off a great start to the year with the release of her debut EP, In The Sky. 

The five track release includes previous singles "Better" and Allday collaboration, "UFO," and shows a growth in Mallrat's songwriting. "Texas" is a swirling synth seduction and "Make Time" a trippy pop number, but it's opening track "Groceries" that hooks you in from the start. 

A bubble gum pop tune with a delicious melody and Mallrat's sugary vocals, "Groceries" lures you in from the first notes and is a wonderful way to kick start In The Sky.

In The Sky is available to stream via all good music platforms.
