Aussie sensation Mallrat is back with her first release of the year and it's a beauty. "Better" is a laid-back pop song that marks a new direction for the Brisbane teenager.
While the majority of her previous tunes have been hip-hop oriented and featured Mallrat rapping, "Better" is a showcase of her vocal talents. Pleasing on the ear, Mallrat sings about everyday life in a blissful way that draws you into the 19-year-olds world. Speaking on the track she had this to say:
"I wrote Better over a year ago but it’s taken most of this time to get it sounding exactly how it does in my head, so thanks for waiting so patiently for new music. My dad says it’s his favorite song which makes me very excited to share it with everyone."
