Why do we like this?

Malarkey's amalgamation of future funk and indie dance leanings refreshes the palette in his newest outing "Arcade Brain."

Leading with a playful combination of synths and leads, "Arcade Brain" is a futuristic flip of nu disco by way of retro inspired aesthetics. Pieces blend together, similar to Porter Robinson, that reflect a passion for melody and nostalgia.

As the track evolves from Sega to mid-tempo nu disco grooves, careful focus is paid to emotive resonance relying on our memories to fill in the gaps in order to reach max euphoria. It's layered, unique, and distinctive showing a penchant for showmanship and substance.
