Why do we like this?
This ultra rare remix from James Blake's Harmonimix project has finally seen the light of day in the form of a white label release on Deep Medi.
Although it was originally made in 2010, the only way to hear this was seeing one of the two DJs live, and in the process, becoming one of the most wanted yet unavailable records out there.
James Blake adds a warmth to Mala's sparse original, at the same time, a certain pomp and influence that might have come from his training as a classical musician. Now we can hear this one in its full grandeur, it's not hard to see why it was so sought after.
