Why do we like this?

Last year Swedish indie punk ensemble Makthaverskan's sophomore album, Makthaverskan II, was reissued in America to rave reviews, anchored by the scorching single "No Mercy." Since then, things have been a little quiet in the Makthaverskan camp, but that's all changed with the release of "Witness."

"Witness" is the B-side to their upcoming new tour single set for release March 3. Containing the same intensity and emotional drive as their previous work, "Witness" is a barrage of dagger-like guitar riffs and pummeling percussion. While Maja Milner's vocals aren't as pristine as heard on "No Mercy," they still hit like a punch to the gut.
