Why do we like this?
Major Lazer's hit "Get Free" featuring Amber Coffman of the Dirty Projectors is a song that I can honestly say is one of my favorites of 2012. Not only are we seduced with hypnotic, reggae-infused beats that Major Lazer repeatedly delivers, but we are captured by Coffman's gorgeous vocals that are layered on top of an already catchy hook.
To make things even more beefy, I give to you a hot remix of "Get Free" dipped and flipped by Australian duo What So Not. These guys take the track, add some hydraulic beats, pepper in beguiling up-tempo synths, and kick it into high gear with booming bassline effects.
