Majik Closer

This song hits me right in the feels. Which is a very inarticulate way of describing such an eloquent song. Apologies, Majik, your gorgeous music has rendered me lost for words. If you're familiar with my typically verbose reviews, you'll know that's quite a feat.

This London duo quite literally sound like magic. Their music is simultaneously uplifting and melancholy, a curiously well-executed combination that pays homage to the duality of human emotion.

"Closer" is a plea for connection. It swells softly with suppressed, airy vocals, calm pianos and graceful melodies. And the lyrics? They're beautiful.

Find a quiet space to devote your full attention to this track. Hopefully we'll see more releases from this artist in the near future.
