Why do we like this?
Check this out. The Darcys, of Canadian Arts & Crafts label, edited and remixed two choice acts: Majical Cloudz and James Blake. We decided to cover this "Turns Turns Turns" remix, which is pretty epic, since it's an engaging, upbeat version of the original. I'm digging how they twisted what Aaron called the "lyrical and melodic style" of leader singer Devon Welsh. The James Blake edit has also somehow slipped under the radar. Quite beautiful.
The remix follows the release of the band's new video for "Muzzle Blast" which we covered back in August.
Their new album Warring dropped this week. If you dig this, you might dig Majical Cloudz original material, like "Childhood's End."
