Getting sent music you haven't heard before from someone can be a great thing if it's good. This week, I got sent a song made by British vocalist Maiday, and while I thought it was good the first listen, it grew on me from there.
Her track "You" paints a very clear picture as she sings about an encounter with a previous lover. The track is produced by Mojam, who have earned their stripes by working with the likes of Naughty Boy and Emeli Sandé, among others. This is a combination that clearly works well.
"You" will be featured on Maiday's forthcoming debut EP Anatomy, scheduled for release this coming summer.
