Madlib and MF Doom Avalanche

As the duo behind one of the greatest hip-hop albums of all time, any collaboration featuring MF Doom and Madlib together is something that has a lot of people seriously excited.

Despite many promises of Madvillainy 2, all up until now have been a false dawn. The two artists have occasionally worked together since the 2002 album (for instance on last year's "Knock Knock"), but it's never been just the two of them.

And while they haven't put "Avalanche" out under the Madvillain name, it does get a reference in the lyrics, which is (hopefully) a sign that the fifteen-year-wait is almost over. In the meantime, you can order "Avalanche" on 7-inch vinyl here.
