Why do we like this?

Made In Heights is a fab duo out of L.A. that consistently puts out quality music.  "Pather," their latest single, was just released today in anticipation of their next LP, which is slated for early 2015.

Kelsey Bulkin's dulcet layered vocals marry together creating a deep but light effect.  At an almost normal speaking pace at times, her tone matches the beautifully melodic flow in the background.  Sabzi -- the producer -- demonstrates his talent here with sophisticated restraint and downtempo touch.  The string notes are heavy and grave, complimenting the methodical piano and delicate high hats.  

"Panther" is on the calmer side of Made In Heights' musical aesthetic, but Sabzi and Bulkin pull it off quite nicely.  Check it out on Spotify here.
