The Los Angeles-based musician croons like Miguel and oozes sensitivity as he sings about his inability to be vulnerable despite his yearning for it (especially in lines like "I don't even know myself / Let alone somebody else").
However, he never goes full-on sentimental, showing a real penchant for control and knowing which buttons to push.
