Why do we like this?
Alabama electronic collective Machinery of the Night found their first success with a remix of Sebastien Tellier's "Look." At the time, they went by the pseudonym Dirty Little Secret. Now, almost a year later, the duo are ready to drop their first full album Seven Systems, and we've got the exclusive first single right here on Indie Shuffle [download here].
The featured track "Thursday" is part of a concept album that attempts to represent the experience of each day of the week. You might guess that each track name corresponds to one day of the week, totaling 7-tracks together. According to the band,
The end result is a bloody awesome concept album, topped off by a great final track "Sunday" (incidentally the only one with vocals) that we'll hopefully get to share with you closer to the album release.

The idea was to bring back the whole album experience. Not just a collection of songs, but a complete work that taken in all at once is greater than the sum of its parts.
