Why do we like this?

Mac Demarco welcomes us into a psychedelic folk journey, all kept together by a charismatic sound garden.

There is an unmistakable energy to "Gualala." It's quirky, vibey, and altogether just a good old soundtrack to your day. It's a slow-burning incense candle of folky indie pop, electro buzzes, and a whimsical guitar that keeps it all together.

Mac DeMarco gives us a slot tour of a resting forest, pine trees and soft percussions, mushrooms and moss, sunlight and leaves - this all comes together in a sound that gives off charisma like a flower in bloom.
