Been Driving It For Years

Mac Demarco drops a song for a car, and it hits in so many different ways.

Obviously, a track about a vehicle seems, at first glance, a simple endeavor, and yet here we are enveloped in the joy of absorbing a little alt folk track all about that one car — the car that took you everywhere, the car you talked in, laughed in and kissed in. It's a soft journey and we are so happy to have Mac DeMarco behind the driver's seat.

"20200817 Proud True Toyota" is a tribute to a past imbued with nostalgia and dreamy memories.
