Why do we like this?
M83 remixed by Mylo seems like an obvious choice, no negative connotation intended. Both are established artists from the first part of the 2000s, and M83's 2011 release has been remixed by anyone and everyone. Scottish Mylo decided to take a stab at the group, and his remix is definitely winning.
Taking the Hurry Up We're Dreaming track "Reunion" for a spin, Mylo has indeed released a lovely remix. Moving to a more grounded feel than the original spaced-out version, this remix has a pop-electro skeleton with some epic synth solos and a French electronic feel. Building to a spectacular finish trimmed with crying vocal samples and a perfectly stitched outtro, it's hard not to feel alive.
