Keeping the UK garage alive, m o a d (mind of a dragon) comes in hot with "keep u safe."
Moody chords, mixed with bubbly, bottomless bass as the vocals repeat, "I'll keep you safe" -- four words maybe as import as the big three, which one should never say to another unless you mean them, and only if they're followed directly with, "I'll keep you safe." Wish this track could keep me safe. If it had arms I'd fall into them.
m o a d keeps the energy hot, but tempered -- vibrates with that excited, deep passion. The beat skips and dips like every step is both soft as jelly and sticky as peanut butter (not sure where that analogy came from, but it's working for me).
Maybe it's time to do some heavy 2 stepping and then go make a sandwich. Yum.
