Why do we like this?
London-based artist Lyves demanded attention with gorgeous single "No Love," which I covered at the end of last year on the site.
The songstress has since released her debut Like Water EP, with the wonderfully poignant 4-track stemming from a personal period of change and loss for Francesca. She left her life in London and relocated to Ostra for 5 months -- a tiny village in Italy -- writing and recording the new songs in her fathers attic.
"Weather" is a soulful, downtempo track which utilizes wonderful metaphors, and well placed melodic interludes over spacious, ambient production. Such a fan!
