Why do we like this?

In celebration of Mother's Day Swedish signer songwriter Lykke Li has unveiled new single "utopia." The emotional pop ballad is accompanied by a film clip featuring footage of Li and her mother, and Li with her young son.

The touching track follows on from the recently released singles "deep end" and "hard rain," both taken from Li's forthcoming album, so sad so sexy. The track is a soaring mixture of Li's heartfelt lyrics and gorgeous vocals with the minimalist production, with the caption underneath the video reading,

Utopia is all my mother ever wanted for me and all I ever want for him.

so sad so sexy is shaping up as another must hear album of 2018 and is set to drop June 8.
