Every new single from Lykke Li gets me more and more excited for her forthcoming fourth album so sad so sexy.
We've already heard three tracks from the album ("deep end," "hard rain" and personal favorite "utopia") and last week the Swedish wonder dropped two more singles, the synth friendly "sex money feelings die" and the piano-driven "two nights." Of the tracks "two nights" is the clear standout.
Emotively singing over the piano about her partner's fidelity, things ramp up as the percussion slowly kicks in before rapper Amine comes through with a short but impactful voice during the tracks final stanza.
Like the previous singles, "two nights" showcases a new musical direction for Li, but one that I can't wait to hear in full when so sad so sexy drops June 8.
