Why do we like this?

Gold Panda and Lykke Li crossing paths is definitely an unexpected piece of candy to the ears. To-date, the majority of remixes I've seen featuring Lykke Li have taken an upbeat direction. For example, this Gigamesh remix we published in July of last year.

But here, the dreamlike ambiance, haunting bass and glitchy overtones added by British artist Derwin Panda (no, really, his last name is Panda) bring a mellow tone to the song that I think many will find both instantly soothing and captivating. It certainly plays well to the title of the song, "Sadness is a Blessing."
