Perfectly suited to the dark shadows and grayscale contrasts of the video below, Lykke Li's acoustic session of "Jerome" (off Wounded Rhymes) is heartbreakingly beautiful. Lykke Li, do you want to come cuddle with me and my cats? It sounds like you need a cup of hot chocolate and some chick flicks.
In all seriousness, it's pretty interesting that the Los Angeles Times was the first to surface this video (even before Pitchfork got to it). Well done, L.A. Times.
I can only hope that she makes more stripped-down version of her songs. But, we have so many Lykke Li tracks on Indie Shuffle -- click here for a general sample -- that there's enough to tide you over 'till then.
