Why do we like this?

I'd be lying if I told you I was excited about Lykke Li's upcoming album. So far everything has been lackluster, at best. "Gunshot" adds another notch to the rung of songs we've heard, presenting itself as flat, unexciting and still somewhat depressing.

I don't normally write about songs I don't like, so you might ask what has compelled me to share this one? Probably a mix of 1) wanting it to be better; 2) the fact that it isn't a complete dud; 3) sharing something you're probably curious to hear.

Dont get me wrong: I don't think Lykke Li's new music is awful. I just hoped for something significantly better, and perhaps a little less suicidal.

I Never Learn will be available in May.
