Here's another excellent electronic bedroom act out of Australia. Sydney-based youngsters Charlie Tait and John Cleworth (both in their final year of high school!) have been combining their musical influences (the likes of Shlohmo and Flying Lotus) and talent for the past year. John is a jazz percussionist and Charlie a guitarist, and together they've already created a number of gorgeous tracks.
Their latest SoundCloud upload is the ridiculously smooth "We Love I Know." Much more poppy than some of their other work, the duo create a perfect balance of staggered vocal samples and textured guitar layers.
Of course, people are going to immediately compare this with the work of fellow Sydney-sider Flume, but before you do, check out their other music (here). This project is much more than another kid with a computer.
