Why do we like this?

Following a surprise November EP release, Lunice is finally back with a brand new track, "Look Like."

Much like Hudson Mohawke's take on John Carpenter's "Escape" theme song, the track is part of label LuckyMe's annual musical advent calendar.

"Look Like" somehow manages to remain fairly cool and collected, despite being full to the brim with a myriad synths, rhythms, and counter-melodies. Kind of a diet version of trap, the instrumental intricacies are all there, only broken up by a big, bouncy rhythm, as opposed to huge drops and massive swings.
