Why do we like this?

"Night Shift" is a song with two personalities. The first half is somber, her soul clearly on display. The ups and downs of her vocals sting then nurture. I want to inquire to see if she would come to my house and sing me lullabies.

The second half rocks a bit, like a riff rich ‘90s grunge track. And she finishes the whole thing by really belting it out, showing off her pipes as the guitar and feedback take a back seat.

"Night Shift" is the single for Dacus’ highly anticipated album out next month, it should be a good one.
