Why do we like this?

The first time I heard Lucius, I knew that these girls had attitude -- bucketloads of it. Fast forward to today and they haven't lost one ounce of personality on their latest single, "Hey, Doreen."

The female duo comprised of Jesse Wolfe and Holly Laesig (who sing in unison) are undeniably the band's greatest asset. Lucius recently signed to the illustrious Mom + Pop label (Metric, Freelance Whales, Polica), and it's pretty easy to see why, with such a soulful and hook-filled Metric-esque approach.

This single is taken from Lucius' upcoming LP Wildewoman, which will be released October 15.
