Why do we like this?

The latest rising star from the Swedish house music scene is 19-year-old songwriter/producer/remixer Lucas Nord.  He is the grandchild of jazz clarinet virtuoso Putte Wickman, so he naturally has music running through his blood.

To be honest, I've been very bored with the house music scene these days; however, the production Lucas Nord delivers and the vocals from fellow Swedish talent Tove Lo on "Run On Love" make for a perfect summer electro jam.  While there is nothing fancy going on, the track's simple progression and subtle changes align to finally bring me back to the house music scene once again -- or at least for now.

The newest single "Run On Love" will be officially released on June 10, 2013 via Hybris record label.
