Why do we like this?
Prepare yourself for the most chilled out slow jam ever. Released in 2010 on record label Double Drop, Balearic disco partners Luca C & Brigante made a seriously pensive, floating track good for any day, rain or shine.
Sampling Italian musician Lucio Battisti's 1977 "Amarsi Un Po," the Mediterranean duo kept most of the original feel intact but added a diffused, meandering feel. The bass line is subtle, and the synths entangle romantically with the echoing, lush Italian vocals. Being that Ibiza is part of the Balearic Islands, it stands to reason that this track represents the other, lesser drug filled isles like Mallorca. Whatever the case, I'm hardcore vibing with the whimsical feel presented with their edit.
