Why do we like this?
Low Leaf, a harpist, guitarist, singer and producer, has been carving away at her psychedelic sound in Southern California for a few years now. Her latest project, Alchemizing Dawn, is a serene yet haunting mix of electronic and acoustic, traditional and new.
Spurned by a pleasant reaction to Alchemizing Dawn, I began to do my homework on the artist and found past work to be just as solid. "Take Time," from her GiGa GAiA EP, showed a more electronic edge, indicating the range the young musician is capable of.
