Brooklyn’s Richard Spitzer aka Loveskills made a splash in the electronic and indie rock scene when his album Multiplicity came out in 2013. It was full of synth-based pop. The songs melded together effortlessly; the kind of hooks he created with synths and keys were irresistible and pushed the boundaries of pop and dance.
He’s now back with a new track titled "Tonight" that starts off with a wave of keys that lull you into a dream haze. While you maye begin to drift, it doesn't take long for percussion and synths to wake the listener up with the warmth they bring into the song.
Spitzer’s vocals are soothing and calming. Altogether, the layers build up and up cohesively.
The newest Loveskills single is possibly the dreamiest song that he’s ever produced. It’s taken his pop sensibilities into a mature and more fully realized venture.
Stay tuned for more new songs from the Brooklyn producer.
