Brooklyn’s Loveskills returns after a long drought. His newest single “Over and Over” builds on his previous work but is a much loftier endeavor.
Starting off airy synth with a gentle guitar playing alongside of it, the soft melody pervades throughout the song. Only when the track hits the chorus does it peaks with a heavy distorted bass giving the chorus a little more oomph.
Richard Spitzer, aka Loveskills, describes the song as “Having your voice hushed by the loud roar of NYC, the pressures of being artists in today's cut throat economy and the overall fall of the music industry.” Indeed, his voice is a hush throughout the song. But don’t let that fool you as you’ll have his voice and melodies ringing in your head.
The song will be featured on his upcoming project. Stay tuned as he begins to let sounds trickle from said project.
