Here's something as fresh as they come: the first listen anywhere of a new Australian act called Love & Other Crimes. The creation of frontman Dan Crannitch, the band has been pieced together over the last year and a half and is now ready to share its first work -- their debut single "Pray Woman" premieres on Indie Shuffle today!
While the band itself is new, they have a polished, expansive sound that only comes with talent and plenty of hard work. Having cut his teeth with Adelaide band Leader Cheetah over the past few years, Crannitch is no stranger to the local scene. His unique, piercing vocals are suited perfectly to this sweeping variety of rock music, with vocal samples and snippets of electronica being used to create the eclectic soundscape you will find within.
Here's hoping for plenty more from Love & Other Climes and their interesting take on the rock genre.
