Here's something warm and fuzzy for you to roll around in. Sounds a bit like Dirg Gerner, more dreamwave style though. As someone commented on YouTube, "That bass line at the end. Pure pleasure to me ears." I'm not a pirate, but me ears like it too.
This track first premiered on Annie Mac's BBC Radio 1 show a few days ago, but I'm not surprised to find it on Majestic Casual now, too. It's a Catching Flies remix of "War With Heaven," the first track off Louis M^ttrs' new EP Beachy Head on MTA Records. I hadn't heard of either till it hit my inbox, but I gotta admit that I prefer this Catching Flies version. The other's a bit too melodramatic and lacks that pulsating beat that Catching Flies added. Pretty slick music video though.
Catching Flies is a London-based producer who's making his way on the scene, playing festivals like Soundwave in Croatia and contributing sweet mixes to blogs like Earmilk. Lots of broody electronics to explore on his SoundCloud.
