Why do we like this?

Loston isn’t one of those producers who’ll throw together a track in an afternoon.

Each of the Perth-based producer’s few releases have been meticulously fine-tuned. He smooths over any perception of their individual working parts until he can present them as organic wholes, as if born into the listener’s ear in the moment they hit play.

What I'm saying is that this man is an artist.

Only his second original release, “Drown" marks Loston's one-year anniversary as an artist, and the dedication to craft is very much on display.
