Why do we like this?

Ryan Pollie is Los Angeles Police Department. LAPD first emerged last fall with the release of "She Came Through (Again)" off his debut self-titled album. Technically he'd released some singles before the album, but it wasn't until "She Came Though (Again)" that the blogs started to drool over Ryan's quaint style of indie rock.

"Insecurity," LAPD's new single, will be out February 24 on 7" via Fat Possum Records. B-side single "Water and Wine" will be out sometime in the next few weeks.
