Why do we like this?
While UK funky has died down a little over the last couple of years, its still a great (and really fun!) sound when done well.
In the hands of Londoner Mina and Rome's Lorenzo_BITW, it has been done extremely well indeed. "Tombura" was knowingly released just in time for Carnival -- and that should tell you all you need to know!
It's come out on Friends of Friends (who we're more used to seeing release records by the likes of Shlohmo), and you can order yourself a copy here.
