Why do we like this?
I think we've given enough love to Lorde over the past month, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to share LDRU's remix of "The Love Club" with you guys. 19-year-old Drew Carmody is the man behind LDRU, an electronic dance producer from Sydney signed to the infamous Future Classic label.
I must admit, I haven't heard much of his work until today, but much like Lorde, he is a youngster with plenty of good years ahead of him. It's not a groundbreaking remix by any means, but it certainly adds a deliciously smooth texture to the original with the added percussion and velvety synth work.
Always nice to see some love between Australia and New Zealand.
