Why do we like this?

There's been lots of hype around Lorde, but to date all of that has been based on a selection of songs ("Tennis Court," "Royals"). Sure the young Kiwi has demonstrated plenty of potential, but her fast ascent had me wondering whether she could repeat prior success.

"Team" is the latest new single off her upcoming album Pure Heroine (due September 30th), and it's actually not that bad. Reminds me a lot of something that Lana Del Rey could have produced.

Hopefully we'll be hearing more in the near future!
