Why do we like this?
Lord Huron's "The Stranger" has been floating around the internet for almost two years, which makes it slightly odd that the song will be featured in the band's upcoming EP Time To Run. Even more bizarre, the EP is the LA-based band's debut.
The band was started as the solo project of lead-man Ben Schneider, which might explain why they've been sitting on this track for so long. Today they've grown to become a collective of varied instrumental talent, the end result a beautiful cacophony of folk-pop.
Time To Run is actually a precursor to the band's debut full-length Lonesome Dreams, which should be available some time in early 2013. We'll definitely be keeping you posted!
