Why do we like this?
My friend Kiran over at Holiday Matinee sent me this track a while ago, and it just resurfaced in my inbox. It's been hard to find specific information about the band Longclaws, but according to their Facebook page , the band is "a musical journey, lead by Adam Lathrum. Along side him is Chris Braciszewski, adding his voice, stories, and ideas. Mashing their music together creating sound."
"India" is the only track on their Bandcamp page. It's mellow, but with enough of an electro/afrobeat backbone to make it catchy. It's the type of song you'd play when you're sitting on an airplane before a big trip, about to take off, anticipating all the adventures you're about to experience.
Hopefully Longclaws will post some more songs for us (there are three tracks on their Facebook page, too); in the meantime, enjoy "India" and the lovely artwork that accompanies it.
