Why do we like this?

It looks like Lone has been keeping busy this summer. In June, the British producer gave us lots of dance on Ambivert Tools Volume One, the first in a series to be released through R&S. Now, he’s back with expertly crafted house on “Minds Eye Melody” his first single from the upcoming Volume Two.

Despite its title, the track’s pleasant melody is eclipsed by its beautiful mastering. Perfectly balanced, the master soaks into all of the instruments, keeping the hypnotic beat perky and bottom-heavy on both ends.

After a prolific career and many years spent experimenting with new sounds, Lone appears to be in perhaps the most rewarding stage of his artistry – the transition from great musician to an expert one.
